PLAY DAYS WITH THE THAMESIDE CLARINET CHOIR

Playday
What is a Playday?
Twice a year the Choir hosts a day of Clarinet Choir Playing open to all clarinet players. These are extremely popular events and normally attract an excellently balanced choir of around fifty players, embracing the complete range of clarinets, from Eb to ContraBasses.

The intention of a Playday is to play a wide and extensive repertoire with as little rehearsal as possible. Sometimes, very little rehearsal is actually needed, and apart from the refreshment stops it can be a day of continuous playing being enjoyed by all. The Gateway Studio at Kingston University is now normally the venue and up to November 2007 there have been forty five Playdays!

All players who have taken part in recent Playdays should receive an application form for the next one. if you are new to this and would like to take part, please download the Information Booklet and Application Form.

If you would like further information please contact the Musical Director.
